Outreach
Members are invited to declare their interest in outreach activities on the membership form. The Association will work with the British Association of Chinese Studies and other organisations to create opportunities where members can communicate their knowledge of China and Chinese to people who are interesting taking up the language.
If you are interested either in volunteering to help promote Chinese in this way, or if you would like to invite one of our members to talk to your school or workplace, please contact us.
Lobbying
The Association intends to position itself so that it can lobby relevant governmental and non-governmental bodies about the importance of Chinese and attract funding for activities that promote the study of Chinese. Details of such activity will be reported in the activities section. Again, if you have any queries or suggestions about this, please contact us.
