Guy Dru Drury

I graduated from Leeds in 1991 with a degree in Chinese and have since spent my professional career using it in a variety of roles and professions ranging from Tour Guide in Xishuangbanna to an EFL consultant in Chengdu. I have been the Chief Representative of the CBI (www.cbichina.org.cn) since establishing the office in Beijing in 2006 and use Chinese on a daily basis. I am amazed that despite the world's enduring fascination with China so few have actually taken the time to learn this bewitchingly beautiful language properly. I hope that through our efforts more people will learn Chinese both in the UK and internationally.
